One of the most important adjustments of the Lion Championship 2024 related to the competition law is the organizers banning the Boss B of the elbows in all cases. Earlier, the first season of the tournament did not limit the demands. Lion Championship 2023 allows martial artists to beat the buffer, and Group A is banned from fighting in a lying position.

In addition to not being able to use the blow, the boxer played in Group B of Lion Championship was also banned from making tight locking locks. The list of banned locks includes Heel Hook, Mikey Lock, Twister, Neck Crank (twisted the spine). The knee joint is also banned.

Compared to the Boss B boxer, Group A boxer is less limited to play. They are only banned from using elbows in a lying position, or when the opponent has 3 points on the body to touch the floor or more. This provision is given to help MMA Vietnamese boxers soon approach the international competition law of many big playgrounds.

In addition to adjusting the schedule, Lion Championship in 2024 will have an expansion in the number of professional events. More specifically, the number of events will be raised from 8 to 10 events. The frequency of events of Lion Championship 2024 is expected to continue at 1 event every month, starting from March next year.
