Recently, former light king UFC has become the target in Chimaev's Trash Talk on Instagram. More specifically, Khamzat Chimaev announced to the politician of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov that he would tear the Khabib body for him to see.
More notably, Kadyrov – who is said to have a good relationship with Khabib – suggested in his video that Dagestan's original boxer is a UFC project. So he always feels reluctant to wear a Russian flag or Dagestan on the ring.
After a few weeks, Khabib finally commented on the case while talking to the Russian media, saying that from the beginning he did not feel the need to respond.
“I just don't think that it is necessary to react to this or something else,” the former champion shared. “Everyone has their own views, so let's leave it. I don't see the live broadcast of Ramzan Kadyrov, I only read what the media wrote.
“How did I feel? Nothing. The whole world was discussing me. I didn't see any insults in the 'UFC project' phrase.”
Nurmagomedov also shared that he hardly had any relationship with Chimaev, in stark contrast to the idea that many people thought. That is why he doesn't have any emotions about the comment of “White Wolf Chechnya”.
“I am not disappointed with Chimaev,” Nurmagomedov added. “I have never met this person. We talked several times by phone.
“You know, disappointing happens when you expect something from a person. But I never expected anything from Chimaev. If he thinks so, let him write – it's his right.”
