Kamaru Usman is a real “nightmare” when defeating up to 5 of the most “horned” names at the weight class: Jorge Masvidal, Colby Covington, Tyron Woodley, Rafael Dos Anjos, Leon Edwards.

In an interview with UFC Russia, Khabib Nurmagomedov made comments about the potential match between St-Pierre and Usman.

“At the moment I think Kamaru Usman will win because this punch is in the peak form. The peak period of St-Pierre was 2009-2010. I thought that Usman did not have the door to win St-Pierre at that time. St-Pierre was the best puncher in 2009-2010. Quite lame when comparing a puncher in 2021 and a puncher in 2010.”

“Just like comparing Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali. Unable to compare such a limp. I grew up during the peak St-Pierre, I was a passionate fan of St-Pierre so I leaned to St-Pierre more.”

“I also respect Usman, I think Usman also grew up during the peak match of St-Pierre, so don't insult the legend. I chose St-Pierre.” Nurmagomedov said.

Canadian legend Georges St-Pierre suddenly announced retired in 2013, returned to 2017 and finally officially goodbye to the audience in 2019, GSP not only encountered obstacles of physical health issues. The Canadian star admits to himself withdrawing because he does not want to be more pressure to play.
