Sean Brady has recently updated on Instagram that Kevin Lee will have to withdraw from their match at UFC 264: Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 3 on July 10 (on 11/7 Vietnam time). The reason for this is that Kevin Lee is injured during training.
“Unfortunately, I will not be able to join Kevin Lee on July 10,” Sean Brady wrote.
“As far as I understood, Kevin was currently injured, and unfortunately he had to withdraw from this match. My team was hoping that I could still be up to Lee in August.”
“Thank you to everyone, family and friends for cheering me. This match is one of the big leaps in my championship journey.”
Later, Kevin Lee also confirmed to ESPN that he was injured in the ribs, and expected the upper radio with Sean Brady on August 7 at UFC 265.
Sean Brady (14-0) is currently one of the most noticeable stars at the current UFC, with the achievement of winning against Jake Matthews, Christian Aguilera, Ismail Naurdiev and Court McGee over the past 24 months.
Also during that time, Kevin Lee (June 18), although still among the top punches, had a 1 win against Gregor Gillespie thanks to Head Kick and 1 lost by Guillotine Choke by Charles Oliveira.
UFC 264 will take place at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas on the morning of 11/7 Vietnam time. Despite the recovery of Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 3 is the focal match of the event, UFC 264 also has quite a lot of other guests like Gilbert Burns vs. Stephen Thompson, Greg Hardy vs. TaiVasa, Sean O'Malley vs. Louis Smolka and Carlos Condit vs. Max Griffin.
