With the approval and accompanying from the Vietnam General Martial Arts Federation, Lien Phong Martial Arts organized the Dragon Fight League (DFL). With the theme “Rise of the Dragons”, it means the rise of the dragon, the first season of the tournament promises to bring fierce, dramatic competitions, upholding the spirit of martial arts.
The DFL will take place in the formula for 5 weight classes including: 55kg, 57kg, 60kg, 64kg, and 69kg. Each weight class will include 8 boxers competing from the quarterfinals to the final. The champion of each weight class will receive a total of 40 million bonuses along with the championship belt.
DFL started to open an application for all Vietnamese citizens from 18 to 40 years old to be registered from June 6 to June 16, 2023 in 2 forms of online and offline. Martial artists who are practicing and living in clubs in Ho Chi Minh City or neighboring provinces can go directly to Lien Phong dojo to apply on June 11. For remote fighters who do not have the opportunity to apply for direct application, they can register in the form of online and follow the instructions from the organizers.
