Jake Paul: I don't think the match between me and Floyd Mayweather will take place

YouTube star Jake Paul has received a lot of attention after the scuffle at the press conference to prepare for the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayever match last May. After the interviews ended, the Paul brother approached Mayweather, started Trashtalk, and snatched the Floyd hat, leading to a scuffle.

This incident raised speculation that the scuffle between Mayweather and Jake Paul was just a performance, to pave the way for Floyd Mayweather to fight Jake Paul after confronting Logan.

“Jake Paul said that he wanted to confront me in a real match,” Floyd Mayweather once shared in an interview with Rob Moore.

“If so, I will cut the appropriate weight to the upper radio, and it will be 147lbs (66.7kg) or 154lbs (69.9kg).

Because of this statement, Jake Paul is not too sure that he will have the opportunity to meet Mayweather on the ring.

Speaking at a recent press conference preparing for the confrontation with former UFC Tyron Woodley, Jake Paul said:

“I don't think the match between me and Floyd Mayweather will take place. Mayweather wants me to cut the weight of 147lbs and then he just hit. Before that, whether I or my brother, it was just” fake “puncher.

It is expected that Jake Paul will face Tyron Woodley on August 29, marking the fourth professional match in his boxing career.
