Israel Adesanya has not given up the dream of invading Light Heavyweight

After winning the throne in Middleweight, Israel Adesanya ranked Light Heavyweight with the purpose of challenging Jon Jones. Unfortunately, this Nigerian boxer lost to the current Light Heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz, despite the bad offerings.

This failure means that Adesanya is forced to return to Middleweight and temporarily put aside the dream of championship in two weight classes. However, according to coach Bareman, Adesanya learned a lot in the match.

On the Submission Radio, Bareman said:

“We did not expect Jan to play so carefully. I thought he would use a double strategy and put pressure, so we focused on preparing for situations that were attacked. The fact that this Polish boxer stood slowly made me surprised.

“I think Adesanya has done very well in the match. This defeat is simple because the opponent is better. Blachowicz fought very well.” Bareman added.

Although Adesanya did not win as desired, that did not think he would give up his dream of winning at Light Heavyweight.

“Adesanya will return to Middleweight for a while to re -confirm the name. And Blachowicz, I believe this boxer will dominate the Light Heavyweight for a long time. I don't know what the future will be like but surely the match against Blachowicz is always the goal we target,” Bareman commented.
