Earlier at the Boxing Championship of the nationwide strong teams 2021, a rare incident took place when many referees had to be isolated due to the CAVI-19 infection. That caused the deficiency of the referee, thereby facing the risk of cancellation.
In the midst of such difficult context, the Vietnam Boxing Federation decided to invite 10 coaches from the delegations to attend the referee. These are all coaches who are knowledgeable about boxing and have completed the course about the referee, as well as directly catching at the Boxing tournament in the past.
The presence of 10 referees and coach helped the Boxing Championship of the national strong teams 2021 to end well. Recalling the story that took place at the end of last year, the President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation did not rule out the possibility that the coach would be an referee if there was not enough referee because of the disease.
The Boxing Championships of the national strong teams 2022 have 312 athletes attending 38 delegations of 32 units. The age of 17-18 has 121 athletes (46 female, 75 male). 19-40 years old has 191 athletes (79 women, 112 men).
According to the latest announcement of the Vietnam Boxing Federation, matches within the framework of the Boxing Championship of the nationwide strong teams 2022 will begin on March 24. The tournament has the companion of the port exploitation investment joint stock company. The opening ceremony takes place on the same day. By the afternoon of March 30, the finals and closing ceremonies will take place.
