The promising boxer Thiago Moises said he would not change much in his first strategy and play before the Main Event at UFC Vegas 31. Playing with the puncher was Khabib Nurmagomedov himself said it would be the successor of the light championship title – Islam Makhachev, the Brazilian puncher considered this match as light as his other matches.
In the interview with Super LutasMoises declared not interested in the screens that this fist thought to explode too much of Islam before the match. In fact, Thiago likes to focus on his own capacity, if everything goes on the plan, Thiago will knock-out Makhachev.
“I don't care much about the bomb saws of Islam Makhachev. I practice to develop myself every day. I will try my best, I will play the highest performance even if the opponent is Islam, Michael Johnson or Alexander Hernandez. The most important thing for me is to play hard on the floor.” – Moises said.
According to the original plan, the main event of UFC Vegas 31 is the Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez, Moises vs Makhachev match only takes place in 3 rounds. Unfortunately, Holloway withdrew because of injury and Rodriguez no longer had the right opponent, so the Moises vs Makhachev match was brought to the main event with 5 rounds.
“When they told me that our match would be the main event, I was really happy and excited. However, I still consider this match as many other matches, for me, the main event or the qualifying round is the same. I will step on the stage and try my best to defeat the opponent, which is what I need to do.” – Moises said.
There are currently three consecutive wins, Thiago Moises defeated names like Michael Johnson, Bobby Green, as well as Alexander Hernandez. Earlier, Moises lost to Damir Ismagulov with a consensus score in August 2019 at UFC Fight Night 157.
