At UFC 261, former Middleweight Chris Weidman championship has suffered one of the most barbaric injuries in UFC history. However, that did not prevent him from being able to fight again.

When Weidman won multi -Middleweight in 2013, he did it by defeating Anderson Silva. Not long after that, both were remained with the result, Anderson Silva broke his legs because Weidman supported his head.

That is why ironically when in the UFC 261 match against Uriah Hall, Chris suffered the same fate with his former opponent. In the first half of the match, Chris broke his feet terribly, similar to Anderson Silva and had to be hospitalized soon for surgery.

Chris provided updated information about the situation, saying that he was considering about 12 months before he could play again. Knowing that Chris had planned to retire, no one would blame him if he decided to end his career right now. However, he said that as long as everything healed, he hoped to play again.

“I was in a very good physical, mental and soul. I was ready to accomplish some big goals, and I could not believe this happened to me again. … It was annoyed,” Weidman said.

“I don't know it will take a lot of effort to heal, but yes, this is what I want. I know how good I am. And I want to be able to prove it. And I have no more years to do that. My body has never felt so good before this match. I am really excited to show the whole world that I can play well.

If I can bring my body back to the level I feel confident, I am 100% want to play, ”Weidman continued.” I want to be able to show the talent I have, show and then can inspire people by returning from there. That will not be easy. ”
