Taking place from July 9-24 at Buon Me Thuot Stadium, Dak Lak Province, the National Boxing Championship of 2022 consists of 3 ages of men and women ages 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18. In the women's age groups, the Hanoi delegation excelled in the first place in 3 categories.
Besides the Hanoi delegation won 3 flags of the whole group in the age groups of women, the army also affirmed the strength when standing first in the whole group in the age of 15-16 and 17-18 of men. In the category of 13-14 years old, the first place belongs to Ho Chi Minh City.
Achievements in each specific category are as follows:
– Female ages 13-14: Hanoi is the first group (3 gold medals, 2 bronze medals). Ho Chi Minh City ranked second (2 gold medals, 2 bronze medals). Bac Ninh ranked 3rd (2 gold medals).
– Male ages 13-14: Ho Chi Minh City ranked first in the whole delegation (4 gold medals, 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal). The military ranked second (2 gold medals, 3 gold medals, 3 bronze medals). Thanh Hoa and Bac Ninh are the third class (1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal).
– Female ages 15-16: Hanoi is the first group (3 gold medals, 2 gold medals, 1 bronze medal). Lao Cai ranked second (1 gold medal, 2 gold medals, 1 bronze medal). Quang Ngai ranked 3rd (1 gold medal, 1 gold medal, 3 bronze medals).
– Male ages 15-16: The army ranked first in the whole delegation (3 gold medals, 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal). Dak Lak ranked second (2 gold medals, 1 bronze medal). Ca Mau ranked 3rd (2 gold medals).
– Female ages 17-18: Hanoi is the first group (2 gold medals, 1 gold medal, 3 bronze medals). Can Tho ranked second (2 gold medals, 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal). An Giang ranked 3rd (2 gold medals, 1 gold medal).
– Male ages 17-18: The army ranked first in the whole delegation (4 gold medals, 2 bronze medals). Hanoi ranked second (3 gold medals, 2 gold medals, 3 bronze medals). Binh Dinh ranked 3rd (2 gold medals, 1 bronze medal).
After the National Boxing Championship 2022, the boxing team in the provinces, the unit will return to the training towards the National Sports Congress 2022. This is the largest tournament on the national scale, held every 4 years with the most famous boxers attending the tournament.
