The Welterweight Kamaru Usman champion is currently extending a series of consecutive victories to 14 after the peak Knock out against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.
The “nightmare from Nigeria” is proving his comprehensive Welterweight and no one seems to be able to confront him. Usman has almost completely defeated the rolling names in the top 5. Although the UFC cable with Colby Covington in the near future, it seems that this opponent is not a big obstacle for Usman.
Talking to TMZ Sports, Usman affirmed: “I play with Khabib will be the biggest match in UFC history. The problem is that it never happened. Even the match against Georges St-Pierre is even more feasible.”
Usman also acknowledged that it was quite lucky to start playing when GSP retired.
“Georges is a wonderful boxer and achieved incredible achievements. Fortunately, playing in UFC at this time, when he could show his full strength.”
Khabib has now retired after the match against Justin Gaethje in late 2020 and kept the unbeaten achievement with 29 matches in the octagon cage. Although UFC has repeatedly clung, Khabib still refused to return to the stage. Therefore, the possibility of Kamaru vs Khabib is never going on in the near future.
