Recently, the YouTube GQ Sport channel has invited the legendary UFC Georges St-Pierre to analyze MMA matches in famous films Warrior, John Wick Chapter 2 and Flashpoint.

Overall, all films have the right techniques as well as fictional techniques to impress the audience. However, the Flashpoint movie of Chan Tu Dan is the movie he likes the most in this review.

More specifically, in the scene of fighting at the end of the film, Chan Tu Dan's character brought the character of Trieu Long Buffalo into the Armbar lock. Despite being quite tight, Trieu Long buffalo escaped and attacked from the above position. Georges St-Pierre shared that this was the movement that Dan Hardy did with him when the two confronted each other in 2010.

“The scene on the movie is quite similar to what I have experienced in the match against Dan Hardy.”

“What we are seeing is quite realistic. This is one of the ways to get out of the Armbar lock. There are many ways to escape Armbar and there are also many ways to implement Armbar (Juji Gatame).”

Georges St-Pierre closed the Flashpoint movie by comment:

“This is the film with the most realistic action scenes. I like him (Donnie Yen), he is a real boxer. Sometimes the actors in the film do not have much martial arts experience, but Chan Xian Dan is an exception.”

“Can see his professionalism. Just look at the way he moves, he is a true boxer,” GSP added. “He has certainly been practiced for a long time.”
