At the age of 38, Demetrious Johnson decided to take a professional MMA competition. This decision was made by American boxers just a few days after he accepted the Black Jujitsu certificate. Demetrious Johnson retired as the reigning One Championship championship.
Nicknamed “Mighty Mouse”, Demetrious Johnson has nearly 10 years playing at UFC. He held the Flyweight UFC Championship in the period from 2012 to 2018. During this period, Demetrious Johnson won 11 consecutive battles.
In August 2018, Demetrious Johnson received a defeat by calculating the point before Henry Cejudo. This is also his last match at the UFC playground. By the beginning of 2019, Demetrious Johnson launched One Championship. He became the most notable face to leave UFC to One.
In 6 years of playing in One Championship, Demetrious Johnson fought 7 matches. He had 3 times against Adriano Moraes, won 2 matches and lost 1 match. Johnson also had a match under the MMA law combined with Muay Thai, and won against RotTang.
