As the first athlete of Vietnam to play on the 2nd day, Ha Thi Linh (63kg female) against Thananya Somnuek. Thai boxers have won the World Young Olympic Games, as well as winning gold medals in the Asian U22 Championship recently. The match closed with the final victory of 4-1 in favor of Thananya Somnuek.
Similar to Ha Thi Linh, the teammate played the field right after that was Luu Diem Quynh (class 75kg female) also met a very strong opponent, Ruzmetova Sokhiba. The Uzbekistan boxer is currently the Asian runner -up, and she has shown the level when entering the match. She won 5-0 against Diem Quynh after 3 rounds.
The remaining Vietnamese boxer played on the last day, Nguyen Thi Huong (Grade 81kg female) also met the most difficult opponent. The obstacle obstacles her in the first match was Wang Lina, Chinese boxers who won the tournament in 2018. The match closed with a 5-0 victory in favor of Lina.
On the third day of competition, Vietnamese boxers will continue to play in the remaining weight classes. After 5 boxers stopped the game, the Vietnamese team still had 4 performances in the tournament, Nguyen Thi Tam, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran, Nguyen Thi Hoi and Nguyen Thi Thanh Hao.
