Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury 3 is expected to take place in Las Vegas on October 9 (October 10 in Vietnam time). Two heavy fists will compete for the WBC belt, the belt that Fury just stole it from Wilder 18 months ago.
Earlier, this rematch was scheduled to take place on July 24, but Tyson Fury and many of his team members were positive for Covid-19, forcing the match to delay. According to Wilder, it is just a “trick” from “The Gypsy King”, and this time if Tyson Fury does not appear, the price he pays will be quite expensive.
“If he is not upper, they will still have to pay for the match for me,” Wilder said in a phone interview with 78portStV.
“Fury's reaction always, he always made an excuse when he did not dare to the radio. Usually Fury always earned him a way out, but this time he didn't – there was no way to escape, no other choice.”
“He will have to fight, otherwise hang gloves. Or punch each other with me, or automatically bring the championship belt.
However, the opportunity for malfunctioning in this match is not too big, because Tyson Fury knows for sure that he must beat Deontay Wilder and then be able to hit Superfight the whole UK with the WBA, WBO, IBF Anthony Joshua champion.
Joshua is also preparing for the battle to protect the belt next week before the unbeaten champion Oleksandr Usyk.
