In September 2020, Conor McGregor was arrested by Bastia City Police, Corsica Island, France due to suspicion of sexual harassment and insulting others. This Irish boxer was investigated by the authorities in France and was released shortly after.
The defense side for McGregor completely rejected the allegations. This is the third time this boxer has been in sex scandals.
After 8 months, the prosecutor announced the results of this case investigation as follows:
“After checking this proceeding, we did not see any reason for prosecution because: the details in the proceedings were unclear to establish the investigation. There is no sufficient evidence to accuse and prosecute”.
Some information that the DNA samples obtained at the scene were identified as McGregor, but still not enough to convict this fighter.
This is not the first time McGregor has to be in court because of the same allegations. In December 2018, a woman accused McGregor acting sex in the hotel and claiming the compensation amounted to millions of dollars. However, the victory still belongs to McGregor in this lawsuit.
McGregor will have a third rematch with Dustin Poirier on July 10 at T-Mobile Arena. McGregor needs to focus absolutely for this match, because if the failure will certainly start turning his back on him.
