'Burma' Aung La Nsang wants to confront Anatoly Malykhin

Aung La Nsang witnessed Anatoly Malykhin defeated Reinier de Ridder at the One 166 event in Qatar, to become a new Middleweight weight champion. This is the belt that La Nsang held before losing to Ridder in 2020.

Aung La Nsang had three times to successfully defend the title before he lost his belt to Reinier de Ridder. 'Burma' wants to regain that championship and he is planning the Middleweight's weight -to -weight battle once again before retiring.

“That's why I want to continue facing challenges to become the champion once again. This is the only motivation for me to never stop playing. Now I can retire, but that makes me unhappy at all,” Aung La Nsang said.

The former Middleweight and Light Heavyweight championships shared confidently: “I want to become a champion once more and I will bring the top match to fans.”

Aung La Nsang officially signed a new contract with One Championship about 6 weeks ago. Despite turning 38 years old, with the last 3 wins showed that he was still a leading candidate in the Middleweight weight class.

Meanwhile, Anatoly Malykhin has just won the third world championship. Two lasts in two different weight classes, this time is in the Heavyweight weight class. Malykhin has just won the Heavyweight's weight championship belt of One Championship in Qatar. The Russian boxer won TKO against rival Reinier de Ridder in the third half.

'Burmese python' claimed that he would not return to play in the Light Heavyweight weight class, although he had previously kept this weight belt. La Nsang believes that he still has enough time to play in the Middleweight weight class. The opponent that this boxer wanted to face was Anatoly Malykhin, who just won the championship in early March.
