In 2024, Boxing Vietnam will organize 3 tournaments of the high -achievement sports system, the Boxing Championships of strong national teams, the National Boxing Championship nationwide and the national boxing championship. Accordingly, the Boxing Championship of strong teams will take place first.
According to the initial schedule of the Vietnam Boxing Federation, the Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide 2024 will take place in April in Buon Me Thuot City, Dak Lak Province. In the latest announcement from the Federation, the tournament will take place in 11 days, from April 10 to April 20, 2024.
Similar to the Boxing Championships of strong teams nationwide 2023 and the National Boxing Championship 2023, the Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide 2024 will take place at the Dak Lak Sports Gymnasium. The tournament includes the weight of men and women in the age of 17-18 and 19-40.
2024 is an important year for Boxing Vietnam, when national teams are in the process of preparing to attend the Paris Olympic qualifying round. Therefore, the Boxing Championship of the national strong teams 2024 will be the place to check and discover new faces of Boxing Vietnam to foster the future.
The Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide (formerly the national boxing club Cup) allows each provincial and city unit to be allowed to send a maximum of 2 teams (2 clubs) for each age group to attend. Therefore, each unit can send its “2nd line” athletes to compete and create conditions for rubbing.
