It is estimated that the ceremony will start at 19h local time at North Paris Arena Stadium, corresponding to 1am on July 26 Vietnam time. This is also the place where the first matches of the tournament.
At the draw, the organizers will officially close the list of athletes attending. On that basis, athletes of 13 different weight classes will be randomly drawn, besides 8 seeds in each class. Vietnam has 2 representatives, Vo Thi Kim Anh (54kg female) and Ha Thi Linh (60kg female).
2 days after the draw, Boxing will officially take place the first match. From July 27 to August 4, matches were held at North Paris Stadium. The athletes and coaches have an additional day of 5/8. From August 6 to August 10, the remaining matches (semi -finals, finals) were held at Stade Roland Garros.
Based on the achievements and the time to win tickets to the Paris Olympic Games, Vo Thi Kim Anh and Ha Thi Linh are not all seeds. For that reason, they may have to encounter some strong opponents early. This is also a disadvantage for Vietnamese representatives when walking into the world playground.
On the journey to the Paris Olympic Games, Vo Thi Kim Anh did not attend ASIAD 19, which was also the first tournament to calculate the ticket to the Olympics. Ha Thi Linh played and stopped in the round of 16 athletes. At the first qualifying round, Kim Anh won tickets. Ha Thi Linh has tickets in the final qualifying round, after the playoff match.
