In the opinion of Dustin Poirier, the three confrontations between England and Conor McGregor can take place in 3 different weight classes, Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight, will be a prominent factor for the war between England and McGregor at UFC 264.
Especially when Conor himself once stated that “The Notorious” was the best form in rank 170 LBS, and even plans to challenge the Welterweight Kamaru Usman and later this year.
However, UFC rejected this offer.
“UFC wants the match to take place in Lightweight,” Poirier shared on ESPN. “I know what they want. It simply means who of the two of us win, that person will fight the next belt match.”
Dustin Poirier also said he believed that McGregor would be a very dangerous opponent in the third match between the two.
“Conor McGregor absolutely no need to fight, he has the economy to say that he will not go to the floor for money. McGregor is on the floor because of his will, that shows that he has the desire for the upper stage, and such a person will not go to the floor to lose, to fight or not.”
