On July 16, the 2022 National Boxing Championship took place semi-finals aged 13-14 and 15-16. In the 54kg weight class, the semi -final 1 took place between 2 boxers Nguyen Phuong Thao (Khanh Hoa) and Huynh Thao Linh (Army).
Facing the pressure of competing in a semi -final, it was surprising that Thao Linh was very comfortable to step on the radio. She was completely on the opponent in the first round, even smiling and exchanging with the coach when resting in the middle of the hour.
Psychological comfort and superior level help Thao Linh continue to overwhelm Phuong Thao in the second half. The victory belonged to the army's boxer.
