Besides ASBC, the African Boxing Federation is also planning to withdraw from IBA. This is the decision made for boxers of these two continents to come to Paris to attend the Olympic Games next year. On the IOC side, they planned to continue to organize Boxing without the support of any sports federation at the world level.

Earlier, at the Tokyo Olympic Games, Boxing also took place without the need for IBA. That is the basis for IOC to be able to organize the tournament smoothly. For that reason, ASBC has conducted a meeting of members of this Federation. Most likely they will create conditions for the national federation to withdraw from IBA and join for another organization.

At the present time, ASBC is the largest boxing federation on the continent with 43 members. ASBC President is a Thai person, Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira. In recent days, the ASBC homepage has continuously showed articles showing support with IOC, and sharing many articles showing that Asian countries are planning to withdraw from IBA.

At the Tokyo Olympic Games, the most position in the whole group in Boxing belongs to Cuba with 4 gold medals, 1 bronze medal. The host of Japan has 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medals. In fact, the organization of Boxing at the IOC's Tokyo Olympic Games is highly appreciated, although there are a few matches that leave a controversial result.
