Kiran Deoli Uniyal, 47, is a Taekwondo martial arts. Recently, she broke the Guinness world record when making 258 shots with elbows for a minute. Based on the record above, it can be considered that Uniyal made 4.3 a second.
UniYal's other Guinness records include the number of attacks on a pillow for three minutes with one leg in the female category (260 times) and the pillow on both legs in a minute in the female category (120 times).
Uniyal, who is a mother with two children, hopes that her records will inspire Indian women to approach martial arts, in order to train health and protect herself.
“When criminals targeting women are increasing, martial arts becomes very necessary and important for all women and girls to defend themselves,” she said. “Martial arts can be learned and practiced at any age with regular physical training and discipline.”
When talking about her own practical method, including a quick quick quick attack technique, Uniyal confirmed that her speedy attacks not only for beautiful, or to break the record.
“The speed and reflexes play an important role in martial arts, self -defense, because it is important to disable the perpetrator or the attacker and knock him down in the first few seconds,” Uniyal said. “This can make the attacker fear, besides the courage and confidence for the self -defense himself.”
