The match ended due to injury, not accepting the loss

At noon on July 11, the third match between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 event took place. Contrary to the hope of many people that the competition will be eye -catching and thrilling, the match ended with McGregor having to leave the stadium on the stretcher because of leg injury.

Poirier (June 28) was very happy about what happened when he strode like McGregor. Poirier noticed signs of injury that happened early in the match, resulting in a horrific outcome for the Irish boxer.

Dustin Poirier said that after the match ended: “His foot bone cracked after the check kick at the beginning of the match, then it was broken because of the force to hit the punch. When the match started, after I checked the kick, I realized his legs were not good, I pointed out him first.”

McGregor was not satisfied with the way the match ended and insisted that the end of the competition was due to injury, believing that if the match he continued he would be the winner.

McGregor told the commentator Joe Rogan after the match ended:

“I was punching the boxing into his head, shot into his leg … It was not over yet. If the match continued, I would win, I didn't care what he and the others thought.”

Although McGregor commented that the battle was not leaning, many people thought that Dustin Poirier also overwhelmed the opponent in a short time of the match.
