Recently, Holly Holm, the former Boxing and MMA championship has been nominated into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, the 2022 course, along with Holm, will be other big names in Boxing village such as Regina Halmich, Miguel Cotto, Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney.
The honor has also helped Holly Holm become the first UFC boxer to be honored in the lobby of the international boxing village. The president of the tournament, Mr. Dana White, congratulated his boxer on Twitter.
Besides Dana White, the Welterweight Kamaru Usman champion also congratulated, he said:
“You have done. This is the result of all the efforts you have spent in your whole life. Thank you for all the years of entertainment that you not only for me, but also for the rest of the world.”
Playing Boxing from 2002 to 2013, Holly Holm achieved an impressive 33-2-3 achievement with the victory over the outstanding names of the time.
Comes with the “crazy” achievement table above is the championship of many different federations in 3 weight classes, Light Welterweight, Welterweight and Light Middleweight.
Before achieving the honor today, Holly Holm was also nominated to the famous british village hall in 2017 and the female fighter award of 2005 and 2006 for The Ring magazine to vote.
After finishing his boxing career, Holly Holm moved to MMA and achieved significant success.
Quickly winning the Legacy FC small tournament at the beginning of his career, Holly Holm was contracted with UFC, where she had a memorable match against Ronda Rousey in 2015.
At the age of 40, Holm is still a formidable boxer in UFC, she is currently ranked sixth on the Pound-For-Pound rankings and is the most in the Bantamweight weight class.
