The 2023 National Boxing Championship is one of the three national tournaments held annually by the socialization mechanism. With the consent of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnam Boxing Federation (VBF) and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City organized the National Boxing Championships nationwide 2023 from July 9, 2023 to 24/7/2023 at Go Vap District Cultural and Sports Center.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the National Boxing Championship this year has 44 participating delegations, 531 athletes registered to compete with more than 100 coaches, heads of the delegation and 40 referees to the supervisory board. The prize for 3 ages of men and women: 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, with 83 content of weight competition.
More notably, the National Boxing Championship 2023 recorded that there were 7 units registered for the first time to attend the tournament. This is one of the details that Boxing is a popular sport to more localities than before, thereby promising to detect and select more talented athletes in the future.
In order to carry out the mission in organizing the competition is always accurate, fair, transparent, VBF organized a training course on the National Arbitration of Boixng in 2023 with more than 45 jobs from all parts of the country, by localities to attend, Ho Chi Minh City Boxing Federation introduced and individuals who love arbitration profession.
The class was held from July 7, 2023 – 13/7/2023. Students learn theory and practice in the days with VBF lecturers. In order to participate in duty at national tournaments, students must take the theory of 50 multiple choice and practice exams at the National Boxing Championship 2023.
