According to the rules of the national level tournament of Boxing Vietnam in 2024, in case of disagreeing with the match results, participants have the right to complain. The complaint fee is 3 million. In addition, if a unit wants to be re -examined and dot 3 times in the tournament that the results do not change, they will lose the right to complain.
The new regulation was given by the Vietnam Boxing Federation somewhat closer than before. In previous tournaments applying the claim and surgery on the match results, the complaint fee is VND 2 million/time. In addition, the units are not limited to the number of complaints.
In the high -performance boxing playground, the regulations allowed the complaints to be applied by the International Boxing Association (IBA) from 2018, after the time of ASIAD 19 ended. However, the regulations of IBA are more rigid, more difficult to apply in the current situation of Boxing Vietnam.
According to IBA's complaint, the Organizing Committee only surgery to dot the score of a single round. Meanwhile, with the matches with a complaint from Boxing Vietnam, the Vietnam Boxing Federation will dot all 3 rounds. This has been applied from the first tournament that allows the complaint.
By 2023, the international boxing prizes organized by IBA no longer apply the rules to score the complaint. Instead, they use the Bout Review system: With matches with a 3-2 final score, two referees/supervisors will immediately watch the game video for additional grading.
However, in the current context of Boxing Vietnam, the application of the Bout Review system is not suitable for the actual situation. In addition, allowing the complaints is also a measure to ensure the objective and transparent scoring work in Boxing.
