'The Gypsy King' Tyson Fury confirmed that the match against Francis Ngannou would not be a traditional MMA match, instead Tyson gives nunnou the opportunity to play with him in an octagon cage with 4 ounce gloves.
Tyson Fury had previously planned to play with fellow puncher Anthony Joshua on August 14 in Arab to win the heavy championship. However, that plan was disturbed by Deontay Wilder that triggered a provision of Fury rematch to be rematched the third time with this puncher. The third rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury as planned will take place on July 24.
It seems that Fury has never been one of those who follow the rules, Fury has tried many times with MMA, recently this puncher also practiced with the legendary Nick Diaz to prepare for a friendly play in the octagon cage.
“Nick looks very good. Nick is practicing hard to prepare to return to the competition. Nick told me that nunnou is not good, so we are looking for a plan to knock-out opponent when fighting.” – Fury responds to TMZ Sports.
Tyson Fury confirmed that he would confront UFC's heavy superstar Francis Ngannou but only with his condition.
“Me and nunnou in a 4 ounce gloves, an interesting match, let's organize this match together. I will compete with the nunnou in the octagon cage and 4 ounce gloves as soon as I finish Wilder and Joshua.” – Fury said.
