At the BKFC Knucklemania event in Miami in February, Dat Nguyen won a resounding victory by the name Johnny Bedford to become the new king of BKFC Bantamweight. Just a few months later, due to failing to reach a new contract agreement with BKFC, Dat Nguyen decided to give up the title of Bantamweight championship that was still hot.
Recently, BKFC has confirmed that Dat Nguyen will return to the bare boxing tournament, in the immediate future, Dat Nguyen is now a Lightweight Championship match with a cross-fist between the US and Peru Luis Palomino at the BKFC 22 event on November 12.
Dat Nguyen said he wanted to face the biggest challenges, play with the best punchers and make history with two championship belts in two weight classes.
“You know, whenever you say you have a big goal, people tell you to be arrogant. As I said, if you just want to play and win a few matches, this sport is not for you.”
“You know, I came here to make history, I came here to defeat all opponents and that's my plan. I want to play the most difficult battles out there, I want the biggest challenges and Palomino is now my biggest challenge. So I will beat him and go to a new level.” Dat Nguyen shared.
As for Luis Palomino, this fighter is a experienced MMA boxer with 43 professional MMA matches including 26 wins and 17 losses, having played in many famous arenas such as One Championship, Bellator and World Series of Fighting. Palomino threatened that he would break the jaw Dat Nguyen when the upper radio.
Facing the threat from the opponent, Dat Nguyen did not tremble at all, there were challenges of Palomino.
