Tyson Fury is still the holder of heavy WBC championship after the Knock-out victory against American fists Deontay Wilder in October 2021. Two months later, Fury was asked by the World Boxing Council to enter the negotiating table to continue to have a WBC stretching match different from the fellow boxer Dillian Whyte.
After 4 negotiations went to a dead end because he could not agree on the terms of the bonus, the match between Fury and whye was finally scheduled. Details have not been published, but there is a source that the match will be held on Principality Stadium in Cardiff in March.
On his personal Instagram, Fury himself confirmed Whyte's challenge: “I can't wait to punch the face of Dillian Whyte, guys. I will let him avoid it as never dodged on the ring. Dillian Whye, practice hard because you will be destroyed by me.”
Earlier, “The Gypsy King” could not have the opportunity to unify the championships with Oleksandr Usyk when faced with the opposition of Anthony Joshua. AJ does not accept the £ 15 million fee to make room for Fury Thuong Dai with USYK. The 2012 Olympic champion has planned a rematch to reclaim the three WBA, IBF and WBO championship belts from the hands of USYK.
The match against Whyte would most likely be the first time Fury returned to the UK of the Thuong Dai Kingdom for nearly 4 years. Before that, the 32 -year -old legend often went to the ring at the stadiums in Los Angeles and Las Vegas recently.
