As one of the largest tournaments of Boxing high achievement, the World Boxing Championship 2023 will take place in New Delhi, India in March. According to the organizers, the tournament lasts from 15 to 31/3, brings together the world's leading boxers to compete with attractive rewards.
At the present time, Vietnam has completed the registration list of members attending the tournament. Accordingly, the Vietnamese Women's Boxing team will set out to India with 9 boxers, competing at 9 out of the 12 weight class of the tournament. The prize includes the weight of 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 81kg and over 81kg.

In recent years, Vietnamese women's boxing has achieved many achievements in the international arena. In 2022 alone, Vietnam won two expanded Thai championships of Nguyen Thi Tam and Vo Thi Kim Anh. At the Asian Boxing Championship 2022, Nguyen Thi Tam won the gold medal, and Nguyen Thi Huong won the bronze medal.
In the framework of the SEA Games 31, Boxing Vietnam has 3 gold medals and these are all champions in the female boxing category. The fighters stepped on the highest throne at that time were Nguyen Thi Tam, Vuong Thi Vy and Tran Thi Linh. The impressive performance of the Vietnamese women's boxing makes the Asian Boxing Federation officials also praised.
