It is quite unbelievable when BLV Joe Rogan believes that Michael Chandler, who has only had a victory in the UFC battlefield, can be “stronger” for the former champion of the two -class Champion Conor McGregor. Rogan even thought that if the match between Conor McGregor and Chandler took place, Conor would probably receive another defeat.
Sharing on MMA Mania, BLV Joe Rogan said:
“As a real MMA fan, you will want to have a match between Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira. If the priority is profitable, we prioritize Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.”
“If, I said if, we could have Poirier against Oliveira, Conor McGregor against Michael Chandler, how much McGregor's ability to win? I don't think if they are upper, Chandler can lie in the other hand.”
Michael Chandler is a former champion who has successfully compete in Bellator. Although he just joined UFC, he had a “greeting” with a thick knocker-out of the achievement of Dan Hooker. After this victory, Chandler rose to 4th place in the Lightweight rankings. Anyway, as Poirier once commented, Michael Chandler needs to compare with many other heavy opponents before reaching the UFC championship, because the victory over a martial artist outside the top 5 like Hooker has not been able to prove much.
Meanwhile, Conor McGregor had to retreat to the 6th position on the ranking after a quick defeat with a technical knockout before Poirier. McGregor is in need of a convincing victory to maintain his reputation in the UFC battle.
