Defeating Gilbert Burns over the weekend, “Nigeria nightmare” Kamaru Usman made history when he passed a consecutive winning record in the Welterweight UFC weight of the legendary Georges St-Pierre. UFC President Dana White does not regret the praise for the defending champion, even expecting that Kamaru Usman will sooner or later become a legend living on UFC ring.
Besides the step forward on the ring, in a recent conversation with TMZ Sport, Kamaru Usman also said he was very interested in participating in the “Universal Dance” program, the English name “Dancing with the Stars”.
“I will stand out from me!” Kamaru Usman affirmed. “I am a very serious person, I understand that hard work will create perfection and I have enough discipline to be able to practice the best dance.”
“So, whether dancing or martial arts, if I need to practice to get used to the movements, learn them, I will do it! I can get used to anything.”
If participating in the Universal Dance, Kamaru Usman will not be the first UFC star to be present at this gameshow. Chuck Liddell participated in the program in 2009, but unfortunately was eliminated quite early. Paige Vanzant also participated in the program in 2016 and won the runner -up.
Kamaru Usman also asserted that despite being an eye on TV shows, the champion will still ensure the practice before the opportunity to rematch with Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington.
