Jan Blachowicz revealed the tactics of defeating Israel Adesanya

After defeating Dominick Reyes at UFC 253, Jan Blachowicz became the new king of UFC Light Heavyweight. Shortly thereafter, the Polish champion was immediately asked by the President of Dana White to compete with the Middleweight – Adesanya champion.

The Super Fight match between the two champions was held in November 2020, but Blachowicz refused because he wanted to have time beside his wife before the birth.

On the Just Scrap Radio channel, Blachowicz said:

“I knew before the glove with Adesanya 8 hours after the match at UFC 253. They wanted me to play Adesanya in November 2020. I agree that that challenge, but suggested that they transfer the competition to March 2021”.

In terms of experience, Jan Blachowic is more than Israel Adesanya when participating in the UFC arena since 2014 with nearly 7 years of fighting. After many years of struggling in the top 10, Blachowicz finally reached the championship belt at the age of 38.

Compared to Blachowicz, Israel Adesanya is more famous for its impressive victories on the Kickboxing floor before becoming a MMA boxer and joined UFC. Therefore, it is not uncommon for many people to appreciate Adesanya better than Blachowicz. However, Blachowicz is still very confident about his advantages.

“The power in Light Heavyweight has a clear difference from the Middleweight. Adesanya may be better in speed, but that will not be a decisive factor. I have a separate plan for this match.”

“We are currently focusing on the Wrestling segment. Although I prefer to use Striking, if I have the opportunity, I am willing to excavate Adesanya to the floor. In previous kickboxing battles, Adesanya has not tasted the floor many times.
