Jon Jones is now over the range compared to Israel Adesanya

Since officially in the UFC Middleweight champion in 2019, Israel Adesanya has shown the ambition to take the title of Goat (Greatest of All Time – the greatest time of all time) from Jon Jones.

“I like the challenge. Jones is currently the greatest boxer of all time, right? I want to become Goat, I will hunt for the next goal,” Adesanya said in 2019.

Last weekend, “The Last StyleBender” had a UFC Light Heavyweight match from Jan Blachowicz. With Light Heavyweight, Jon Jones has once dominated for a while, it can be seen that this is Adesanya's preparation before fighting him.

Unfortunately, Israel Adesanya was unable to overcome the gap in strength and bodybuilding 2 weight classes. Over 5 rounds, the Polish champion has successfully defended the belt thanks to the advantage of bodybuilding, experience and object skills. Failure to Jan Blachowicz made Daniel Cormier believe that Adesanya was not able to play at Light Heavyweight.

“I still believe that he (Adesanya) is one of the best fighters in the world. But the problem here – and I admit that I am also suffering – that is we think he can defeat any boxer based on matches in the weight of Middleweight.”

“With Adesanya's skill set, we think he can beat Jones. Today, after watching the event last weekend? I believe Jones will be too hard for him.”

Currently, Adesanya has returned to Middleweight and plans to compete with Darren Till, in the case of Till Victory Marvin Vettori at the upcoming event.

However, the head coach Adesanya, Eugene Bareman, said he believed the appeal of the war between Jones vs Adesanya will never really disappear. The coach shared that Adesanya could find a way to return to Light Heavyweight and could gain a few more pounds to have a long time at this weight class.
