Despite winning the UFC, Stipe Miocic is still a firefighter

UFC Heavyweight champion is currently a long -time member of the Oakwood Fire Department and Valley View in his hometown Ohio, where he holds the position of firefighters and medical staff.

Over the past years, many have doubted the ability to balance the two jobs of the Croatian -American champion, but Stipe Miocic has proved all wrong by devoting themselves to both career and not compromising with both professions. In fact, Miocic sometimes participates in small matches to raise money for firefighters and other charitable organizations.

Stipe Miocic has been a firefighter for more than a decade, before becoming famous around the world thanks to the MMA career. He currently has more than 4 million USD assets and earn from $ 750,000 to one million USD for each match, meaning he absolutely does not need to have a second job.

However, Stipe Miocic does not do this job for money. He did that to help those who were in trouble. In an interview, Miocic talked a lot about the purpose of promoting him to continue his fire and perform it seriously as colleagues.

“I like to become someone who can rely on. Regardless of whether they are just a little sick or they have a complete or something cardiac arrest.

“All the beauty of firefighters, helping people at any time, day or night, I love it. I love this job every second, just need to know the opportunity, I can help someone,” Miocic said.

At the end of March, Stipe Miocic will protect the 2nd championship before Francis Ngannou. If winning, his opponent will be former Light Heavyweight Jon Jones.
