UFC Heavyweight Francis Ngannou in a conversation with Joe Rogan shared the experience of working at a sand mine in Cameroon when he was young. Ngannou explained that working in the mines started from an early age and took place until he graduated from high school.
Ngunnou's description of real events opened his eyes because it offers a perspective of an experience that many lucky people do not have to go through. With the difficulties he faces, it is not surprising that the nunnou is one of the most motivated boxers in the tournament's list.
“I am about 10 years old when I started to work at the sand mine, because it was the only job in my village growing up.
“We have to work to contribute to the family, for example to buy oil, buy food and pay for our books, buy our books. Children have to work, although the work in the sand mine is only for adults, but we do not have any other options. We have to accept what we have at that time.”
“My previous life was not happy. I felt like I had missed a lot of memorable things of my childhood … I had to work at a very small age and still not enough to live.”
Francis nunnou believes that the old experiences made him a human being today, and it turned into a motivation for him to play. Ngannou is currently preparing for the second chance of painting at UFC 260 against Stipe Miocic. The two have encountered each other in the past and “The Predator” certainly he will win Miocic this time.
