UFC 261, with 3 pairs of belt struggle, will be prepared to be held at Jacksonville, Florida on April 24.
This will be the first UFC event to open for all the audience to be free to attend directly as usual since the translation of Covid-19 forced the world's largest MMA tournament to organize events without audiences for more than a year. Therefore, it is not uncommon for only a few minutes to sell, UFC 261 sold out, with all 15,000 seats of Vystar Veterans Memorial a gymnasium sold clean in just a few minutes.
Although many fans are looking forward to seeing UFC 261, when looking closely at UFC 261 tickets, viewers will feel cold when UFC declares not to be responsible if the audience infect Covid for coming to see the event.
Published on the UFC booking page, the third term for the audience directly records that the viewer will be at risk of infection of Covid-19, with “particularly heavy health” consequences.
UFC will not be responsible for the consequences if viewers suffer from covid, including “death, high fever, weight loss, permanent lung damage, respiratory damage, nervous system damage, loss of ability to smell and taste, exhausted, temporary or permanent disability, loss of income, job loss, no financial guarantee and any other medical costs”.
“In terms of policy, UFC is not wrong – Florida has always left relatively loose rules about the measures to keep Covid safety for the community,” said Dr. Phil Davies, one of the audience who opposed UFC's open door for the audience to come to the matches too early, commenting.
“But the fact that comes to see a live event is more valuable than the risk of overwhelming in the whole community? I don't think this is appropriate.”
