As one of the leading localities in the country's development movement, Ho Chi Minh City has a great demand in studying, receiving coach training and arbitration boxing. In this context, HBF organized the first referee training and training course in 2023 with 15 students attending.
Taking place continuously in the early days of March, HBF's referee training and training class was conducted at Saigon Sports Club (SSC). In addition, the students were taught directly from Mr. Nguyen Van Hien, General Arbitration of the Vietnam Boxing Federation (VBF), a person with extensive knowledge both in theory and practice.
At the end of the course, the students were taken to the test. The final result shows that 100% of students get graduation scores, of which more than 80% of attendees have high results. This training helps HBF have a more general view to develop many new training programs for individuals who love boxing in Vietnam in the future.
As noted by iThethao.vnVietnam has not many boxing referees, especially those who meet international standards. In this context, VBF has conducted many training classes, fostering and improving the quality of Vietnam boxing arbitration. Currently, Vietnam has 14 standard 1 -star referees of the World Boxing Federation (IBA).
In the coming time, VBF will organize the 2nd term Congress. It is expected that VBF Chairman of the 1st term, Mr. Tran Minh Tien, will not continue to stand for election. One of the potential candidates for the position of Chairman of the next term is Mr. Luu Tu Bao, Director of SSC Club, who contributes to strongly promote the Vietnam boxing movement over the years.
