Facing the requirements of localities as well as the General Department of Sports, the Vietnam Boxing Federation (VBF) is collecting opinions from localities about the organization of the Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide 2023. It is likely that the solution will take place within 10 days, from April 20 to April 29 to suit the national holiday schedule.

– World Women's Boxing Championship (late March)

– The Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide (at the end of April)

– Boxing SEA Games 32 (mid -May)

The need to play up to 3 tournaments in 2 months, plus the movement schedule, changing hours of continuous living can affect athletes. Currently, the World Women's Boxing Championship and the 32nd SEA Games are considered important arenas, determining the achievements of Boxing Vietnam in the international scope.

If achieving good achievements at the World Women's Boxing Championship 2023, Vietnamese fighters not only face the opportunity to receive a generous bonus, but also have tickets to the Olympic. In the latest announcement of the World Boxing Federation (IBA), they said they would spend two Olympic Games at each weight class.

Earlier at the 31st SEA Games, the members of the Vietnam Boxing team did not attend the Boxing Championship of strong teams nationwide.
