On February 28, the Lion Championship Organizing Committee officially announced the organization schedule in 2024. Accordingly, the MMA Vietnam Championship has 9 events. The first event, Lion Championship 12, took place on April 13 at Rach Mieu Stadium, (Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City).
In addition to the familiar places with Lion Championship from previous seasons such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang), the MMA Vietnam Championship will have the first time to come to Thanh Hoa. This is the place where Lion Championship takes place, the event is scheduled to be held on October 12.
Previously, when organizing events in the Central and Central Highlands regions, Lion Championship chose the destination of Da Nang. However, in the context that the MMA movement is growing very strongly in Thanh Hoa, choosing this locality to become the venue for an event of Lion Championship is reasonable.
At the present time, Thanh Hoa has a number of boxers who are in the first group of Lion Championship such as Nguyen Thi Huong (60kg female), Nguyen Thi Hien Luong (52kg female), Pham Hung Hai (84kg male). They are all strong boxers who have shown their abilities at the MMA Vietnam playground.
In addition to bringing an event to Thanh Hoa, Lion Championship season 2024 still maintains a special event in Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang). It was Lion Championship 19, which is scheduled to take place on November 9. Phu Quoc is also the venue for the Final night of Lion Championship for the first season.
