Cormier: “There is no story that St-Pierre defeated de la Hoya in the boxing floor”

De La Hoya won the championship in 6 weight classes in Boxing. He retired immediately after the defeat to Manny Pacquiao in 2008. Despite being 48 years old, the technique and power of this fighter is still very formidable. De La Hoya recently revealed his return on the boxing stage and rumored that the former UFC Georges St-Pierre champion would be a fighter.

Cormier:

St-Pierre has no longer competed in UFC since 2017. The actual contract between UFC and this Canadian boxer is still valid. If you want to play with anyone, St-Pierre still has to go through the current tournament president Dana White.

White himself does not allow St-Pierre to play Boxing and receive response from many other MMA boxers.

Former UFC – Cormier King shared on the DC & Helwani program:

“To be honest. This match has too many risks and harms the MMA community. Although economic, it is beneficial for St-Pierre, but this match is very difficult to predict. It is unclear whether Oscar de la Hoya at the age of nearly 50 is as strong as before, but this match is obviously detrimental to St-Pierre.

Cormier:

“I also think there is no story that St-Pierre defeated de la Hoya in the boxing floor. The reality is. It is also possible that St-Pierre will win, but I myself think it is impossible.” Cormier added.
