Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong was born and raised in Buriram province, his parents are farmers. Although the situation is somewhat difficult, Sitthichai's parents still try to make sure their children are full. By the age of 9, sitthichai started to study Muay Thai From his father, who used to be a boxer named Samarn Muangrong. Sitthichai's father did not intend to want his children to become a boxer but only teach him to defend himself.

Thanks to the lessons with Sitthichai's father realized that Muay Thai was his passion, after two years of practice, Sitthichai began to try on the ring.

“At that time, there was a small event in the village, my father asked if I wanted to try to play. I said I should take me away. When I came to the event, I played with a boy who used to be 10 times, while this was my first match.”

Due to more experienced opponents, Sitthichai failed for the first time. Even so, the Thai puncher still received 150 baht (about 100,000 VND) and realized that this is a way to help him support his family.

“At that time, I was only 11 years old so the money was quite large. I thought like“ Oh, I made a lot of money by this? Therefore, I think if I continue to play, I can take care of myself and my family. ”

With this motivation, Sitthichai continues the serious training process than before. Just a month later, Sitthichai returned to the ring and had the first victory. Shortly thereafter, Sitthichai's father took him to the Sit Kru Yiam martial arts furnace, where he continued to train his skills. Practicing at a professional club has helped Sitthichai play more effectively as well as more opportunities.
