Coming from Chechnya, Chimaev has faced many difficulties on each street corner and that has formed him today.
In a recent interview, Chimaev recounted a story about him fighting on the street with a 11th grade student when he was only in 5th grade. This is what Khamzat Chimaev recounted:
“Every day, we have fought on the streets of Chechen
“I still miss this guy. Now we are friends. He is in grade 11. I am in 5th grade. I am not in a big form anyway but also bigger than me.”
