According to the plan, the Lion Championship 2022 will take place in 3 stages for all 9 weight classes, the formula for playing live. In the first year of the organization, the prize will start with the qualifying round in 3 regions of North – Central – South, then organize semi -finals and finals.

Lion Championship 2022 has officially started with the matches of the Northern qualifying round, taking place from June 11. After the Northern qualifying round, the tournament will continue with matches in the Central – Central Highlands qualifier, taking place at Tien Son TT Palace, Da Nang on June 18.
Today's list of competitions lacks the waiting of champions Kickboxing SEA Games 31 Nguyen Thi Hang Nga and HCB Jujitsu Sea Games Duong Thi Thanh Minh at 52kg. Due to the need to focus on performing tasks with the national team, two female fighters could not participate in this event.
After the qualifying round ended, Lion Championship entered matches in the second round (quarterfinals, semi -finals) in Hanoi. Round 2 is scheduled to take place in August and September. Stage 3 – The final round is expected to take place in Phu Quoc Island in late December 2022 or early January 2023.
