However, in the opening speech of Lion Championship 2022, the Vietnam MMA Federation said the final round will take place in November 2022. That also means the final schedule of the tournament is pulled up 2 months early compared to the initial expected time. That also means that the fighters competed for 1 month to prepare for the tournament.
According to the information Thethao.vn recorded, initially, the Lion Championship 2022 finals were scheduled to take place in January 2023, after the National Sports Meeting held in December 2022. But with the current adjustment of the competition time, the Lion Championship final will take place before the whole congress held every 4 years.
