On the sidelines of the 23rd Angel's Fighting Championship (AFC), the organizer of Cocky Buffalo signed a television copyright distribution contract with VTVcab. This contract has a 5 -year term, which means that professional MMA and Boxing events organized by Cocky Buffalo will be broadcast live by 2027.
In addition, AFC events will continue to appear in Vietnam in the near future. On the basis of establishing a relationship with the leading MMA ovens in Korea, AFC promises to continue bringing highly qualified fighters to Vietnam to compete in the near future. South Korea is also a country with many boxers attending UFC and ONE Championship.
At the AFC 23 event, only one Vietnamese boxer participated. It was Hoang Nam Thang, who was chosen to replace the runner -up Lion Championship Nguyen Tien Long at the last minute. Before a very strong opponent from Korea, Nam Thang received the first failure of the first half because of injury.
Besides the fascinating matches on MMA, AFC also combines sports competitions with social activities. This is a unique feature of this series of events. Earlier, some Vietnamese martial arts clubs also held an event to fund a charity fundraising and created a lot of echoing in the international scope.
As of the FC 20 event, Angel's Fighting Championship has never been held outside the Korean territory. Since AFC 21, this tournament has just started in Vietnam. This is the basis for other MMA tournaments to continue towards Vietnam as a destination in the future.
