One Lumpinee 16 organized by One Championship, taking place in the evening of May 12 at Lumpinee Thailand. This is considered one of the “mecca” of professional Muay, regularly organizing international events. The event of One Lumpinee 16 also became more special when a Vietnamese boxer participated was Luong Thanh Phuc.
At the present time, Luong Thanh Phuc is a national general in a weight of 60kg in weight. This year, 23 years old, Luong Thanh Phuc is living at the Muay No.1 club and is a member of the Muay – Kickboxing team in Ho Chi Minh City. He is also considered one of the outstanding faces of Muay Vietnam over the past time.
With the appearance of One Lumpine 16, Luong Thanh Phuc became the second boxer in the history of Muay and Kickboxing Vietnam to participate in the series of Events of One Championship. The first person to represent Vietnamese martial arts competition is “Lonely Cau Lon” Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat, and he is still having a record of winning in One.
Initially, Luong Thanh Phuc was arranged by the organizers of a Thai fighter. But not long after that, this boxer was forced to withdraw and could not play. They replaced the Thai athletes with Temirlan Bekmurzaev, a Russian boxer that was strongly evaluated in this weight class. That makes Thanh Phuc have an unpleasant match.
The appearance of Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat, as well as Luong Thanh Phuc shows the internationalization of Muay and Kickboxing Vietnamese boxers recently. They not only play high -performance domestic achievements, but are also willing to try their best in the international arena, including the prestigious ONE Championship.
