On April 29, Vietnam had 2 athletes competing at the U22 and Asian Championships 2024. River Thi Kim Ngan (Lao Cai) met Enkh Amgalan Nomundari (Mongolia) in the weight of 50kg women's age age U18. Tran Thi Truc Han (Tien Giang) met Medina Abbyldaeva (Kyrgyzstan) in the 57kg weight of U18 women.
